Your other posts are SO interesting! I once owned hot pants myself, that was ca. 1973. I was 9 years old, and hot pants were strictly for kids, and strictly for the summer holidays then. It makes sense: the mobility it allows, and the fact that polyester dries real quick make it ideal to wear over your swimsuit. Plus they looked like they were designed to fit stick figure little kids in the first place!
