I'm so curious about these mitered socks. Do it again! I want to see what happens without knitting them myself :)

One of life's great joys is opening packages that come in the post, no? Never fails to excite me, even when I know what's in it. I love the hot pink yarn!
Can't you use the sock as a miniature stocking? It will be most painful to frog!

oh...bummer about that sock. I have been thinking about casting on ever since you gave me the link. I hope #2 works out!!

And i was awol when you posted about that t-shirt smock, and I just have to say i LOVE it. I have made the dress twice, but now HAVE to make a few smocks, too. The contrast fabric is a fabulous touch.

You sure did get some rocking swap packages! That sock looks like such a great pattern for stripey yarn, I too want to see you finish one!

I totally went through a too-snug sock phase, which broke me down so much that I now do swatch before starting new socks. I mean really, who takes the time to do a gauge swatch for socks?

You are a brave woman. I have been fighting my way through a Jaywalker that is too snug to get on and off easily; not enough cojones to ripout all that hard work. Good luck with the next version!

Your swap packages are really great!! I love mail days like that.

I'm sorry you have to frog that sock. It's a shame!! It's a cool pattern but it is better to get a perfect fit than keep something you don't love just "because".

I *heart* big fat sock yarn!! I think you'll find the knittery yarn falls under this category!
