Bergere de France cabled pullover
LINKS UPDATED May 2007.
Wabbit on Craftster created a French-to-Estonian-to-English translation of this free pattern, and I couldn’t resist knitting it up cheap.

yarn: KnitPicks Andean Silk in Navy
needle: 5.5mm
The pattern is unclear about some backwards short-row action at the bust. I think I executed them exactly as the pattern asked, but I don’t like the look of them — they seem a little sloppy. Otherwise, this is a fun, simple variation on a bottom-up raglan (you knit the sleeves, front, and back separately; put them together on a circular needle; knit the yoke in the round; seam up the sides and underarms). And I just love this cable pattern.
