bummed to be missing another Empty Orchestra show. I have already put the next show in my calendar so there will be no possibility of not being there.

good luck at the lit lounge. some austin friends played there in november, and while some of the people there were nice some of the staff were fascist assholes.
i think you guys should be fine, though, since on a thursday night there probably won’t be a yuppie dance party immediately following your set. mostly it’s a decent enough place with some colorful atmosphere.

ah, last time i was at lit, they allowed smoking in the basement. it was awful. i then proceeded to get food poisoning and puke for 14 hours straight. MMMEEEEMMMORIEES!

Aw, I’m bummed that I didn’t plan this right, either. I did go to a bar for a show last summer with a sock on metal dpns in my bag and the bouncer was suspicious of my overstuffed tote bag and wanted to just stick his hand inside there. I warned him that he should do what he needed to do, but that he also needed to know that it was likely he would get a puncture wound. He just let me in after that. Ummmm, anyway! Hope your show was awesome!
